This was made in 2011 and when I visited in 2012 there still wasn’t a properly decorated room or beds with sheets. There was hundreds of thousands of Euros of work needed doing before I would feel comfortable, but the young people were working on an impressive mural.
however the Cooperative Integral Catalonia which this project was a member of is a much larger network, and is practising with its own systems of production and currencies for exchange. I’m keeping a close eye on them!
