The key to our future survival is to recognise our interconnectedness and create a collaborative, not competitive global society. Collaborative learning methods, including “empathy courses that promote social behavior” are needed to re-establish the idea that our primary nature is “Homo empathicus” and provide the practical skills needed for that.
