Still, Alexander is not an easy read, it takes time to let his theories and findings mature and become part of your new world view, which is the one we all longs to, and belong to, but which was lost for 400 years.

To co-create a new world of the Commons we all need to break the chains of our inherited mechanistic universe, to regain the Medieval universe where matter and spirit are one, but not with a traditional religious foundation, but as a matter of the facts of the wholeness of the universe, revealed in the field of centers. Where the process of creation through Alexander’s life-giving properties or transformations is a goal in itself, always searching our own true selves in the daily activities of our lives. Something which is hardly even allowed in our present world.

This new world, which is the true world hidden for us, now again released by Christopher Alexander, cannot emerge under the invisible hand of the market, or the visible hand of the state, it can only emerge through the human hand of the Commons.

So please, all commoners, read Christopher Alexander!
