   Just miss the aspects of sexual selection, the handicap principle and the ingroup, which are more or less the same thing, and at the core for creating cooperative societies: http://ukcatalogue.oup.com/product/9780195129144.do

   Sexual selection plays a much larger role for cooperation than natural selection.
