True to some extent, but at the same time corporate involvement in these movements has added to their visibility, credibility, and impact. The question is how much has capitalism captured and sequestered these movements vs how much has it helped to launch them into wider scope and influence. This is not a simple black and white issue.

Similarly, “property” and “ownership” are not about ideological positions but about pragmatic relationships between people and things. My biggest problem with ownership is not “private” ownership (whatever that may mean), but absentee ownership and idle ownership (which includes accumulating more than you can use).

I have little use for highly ideological and philosophical arguments. It seems to me they only obfuscate the practical issues.
