Leap frogging unless well thought could lead to larger gap between the rich and poor, civil unrest and also environmental disasters.
We need to carefully study in which areas we can leap frog and also at what cost will the leap be, wont we sprain our economies as we leap, or could we even fracture our societies in the process?
It definitely plays well in the hands of capitalism whose flaws are evident today. Entirely leap frogging may leave Africa a lot worse than she has been.
