I found this article incredibly insightful and it was certainly thought provoking. I think it is important to look at the many ramifications that our technological advances have on our society and environment as a whole. I especially found your integral approach to development and implementation of technology to be very fascinating. I think regulation needs to be done in the right way so that we avoid special interest and corruption, but it definitely needs to be there.
