The basic subsistence guarantee function could be handled with no additional revenue by putting all existing welfare spending into a negative income tax sufficient to address any individual income shortfall and bring it up to the poverty level.

The other functions, with basic subsistence already addressed through the negative income tax, would not have to worry about bringing in sufficient revenue, but could simply distribute whatever revenues came in on an equal per capita basis. The Citizens Dividend (funded by severance fees, land value taxation, CO2 taxation, etc.) would be a return on land and natural resources as a commons, and distributed equally.

The Social Credit would replace the banks’ money creating function by depositing an equal amount into every checking account each month, based on what the estimated aggregate demand shortfall was for the economy at the time. (It seems to take anywhere from $500 billion to $1.5 trillion in deficit spending annually to prevent depression — why not just create it by depositing it into existence, rather than borrowing it by selling interest-bearing debt to rentiers?).

It is the first time at P2P and I only read the first paragraph and I just want to comment on …

“cognitive linguistics”

I found “Mental Symmetry” interesting,
with TESOL Teaching English as Second language to Other Languages.
Also his approach with a “Meta Theory” to be able to look e.g. at science and religion from one perspective seems interesting. As the world is so diverse, to have a tool which could “compare the uncomparable” might be helpful.
Like e.g. I could think of personal basic needs, might be different if you live at the river, ocean, or in a city, forest, tundra or desert or in the ice.

Sorry my reading capacity is not so big currently. I am still in some transition phase.

all the best
