It would seem logical that as people become more empowered at work and grounded in a local/regional community then they would also become more politically active. Perhaps these changes are underway, perhaps not. Mr. Carson’s input, whether in the form of excerpts addressing politics connected to decentralized production, or a separate essay by him, would be appreciated.

Like many, I hope that distributed generation of energy among households and small businesses, and local farming, will lead to political empowerment. Let’s learn what the Italian case teaches.
