They were trained by US-based Center for Wise Democracy, Jim Rough. This Dynamic Facilitation/Wisdom Council model has even been written into the Constitution in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It supports the legislature and empowers a true “We the People” voice.

There is an impetus now to hold the first Global Wisdom Council in Austria. Groundwork to date has been profound. Besides addressing serious influx of Syrian refugees using this model, one Wisdom Council facilitated a Community to speak to what happened under the Nazis during Works War II, a conversation which had never truly happened in all the decades in between and now in this context proved groundbreaking and deeply healing for elders and youth alike.
