Hi,

I can only assume you didn’t read the text you are commenting on, or only with such ideological blinders that you couldn’t see what was there. I concede that an argument could be made that stalinist states were a form of state capitalism, with capital accumulated by the state instead of by monopolies, but as far as I know, state capitalism was not marked by high prices. This being said, since there is no advocacy of state ownership in the text, your arguments are not related to it, and your argument/prediction that democratic p2p advocates “will use force to impose a new Csar”, are quite laughable.

Contrary to what most people believe capitalism is not a political system like democracy or socialism is. All forms of government use capitalism and in fact Socialism depends on capitalism to survive. The primary difference in how this is done is that either the leaders/government “owns” all capitalism OR there is freedom and anyone can pursue capitalism. In the U.S. our freedoms allow us to dabble in capitalism and for the most part our success or lack of it depends upon our energy and inventiveness. In a socialist system the government controls capitalism and their succes depends upon preventing any competition. This usually results in the worst possible scenario for citizens, i.e. high prices, low quality, low supply. In short I don’t see the difference between what you say and what a classic socialist has said in the past. It appears you are using the crisis to install yourselves as the new Czar and will use force to oppose anyone who does not agree with you.
