Wed, 15 Apr 2009 12:55:27 +0000http://blog.p2pfoundation.net/?p=2672#comment-408124Several years ago, I wrote a paper for the U.K. journal Geophilos in which I relief heavily on Mason Gaffney’s research in his book The Corruption of Economics, bringing some of the analysis forward based on another book published in the same year, 1994, written by the former Wall Street Journal economics editor, Alfred Malabre, Jr. Malabre did not make the connection between neoclassical economic theory and the campaign to discredit Henrry George’s analysis, but he effectively explored the development of economic theory as having little to do with explaining reality.
