Unless we address these issues, we do not have a testable program of action. In particular, the issues of scale reduction in natural resource extraction/processing have to be acknowledged – how do we turn this into ethical production? This to me is the key to the open source economy. Physical production, starting with available feedstocks – is relatively easy to do within 5-10 years. That still does not acknowledge primary feedstocks – which I think will be the next frontier after said physical production is opensourced.
