These buildings have nothing to do with life, as defined by Christopher Alexander:

– Empirical Findings from The Nature of Order: http://www.livingneighborhoods.org/library/empirical-findings.pdf

I understand very well when Alexander states:

– I Don’t Want To Hear About Green Buildings Any More: http://www.livingneighborhoods.org/library/conversations/sustainability.htm

Personally I should like to live in an ecovillage, but I see too many ecovillages are destroyed by these so called “living green buildings”. I understand more and more why I feel so little connection with other permaculturists, as they are in fact trapped within the current mechanical worldview. Only with Alexandrian people I feel at home.
