Many people don’t understand that this is a core tenant of modern science and the scientific method, in contrast to the “scientism” found in organizations like the WB/IMF. Scientism is the opposite of real science.

Value of ignorance: I’m not a Buddhist but I have always admired their practice of “beginner’s mind”. “A cup that is full cannot receive anything new.”

My own way of representing all these ideas about knowledge is an anonymous quote I read as a teen:

“There is no answer. There is no solution. There is only practice.”
