Whom did you contact about sociocracy?
My experience is the opposite – “Holacracy” is a service mark held by the company Holacracy One, and the closest they ever came to “open source” anything was a CC-ND-NC (no derivatives, no commercial use) Creative Commons license for the Holacracy “constitution.” Meanwhile sociocracy is a word in the dictionary and cannot be owned by anyone, and we as consultants and trainers produce Creative Commons licsensed (CC-BY-SA -attribution share-alike, the most “free” CC license) sociocracy information and materials, including videos. We do of course charge for our training and consulting services, but our business model is in the open source vein, focusing on services for training and implementation rather than products that are proprietary.

The left brain right brain duality without the possibility of synthesis is polarizing and alienating. What comes from mind of this orientation is its flavor. Harmony is the only way out! Extracting and simulating organic behavior with alien languages, symbols and expressions remain alien unless a deeper encoding is possible. One that modulates between dimensions with variable number bases; not stuck in binary mode alone! Situational variability is natural. Nature operates within well described environments and states by being transformed in a simultaneity that our brain can not cope with.
