Sun, 05 Jan 2014 11:37:02 +0000http://blog.p2pfoundation.net/?p=35959#comment-598610As with its recent espousal of home ownership preferable, and indeed more ‘radical’ than renting from the private sector, the Foundation opts for form over content, priveliging the already priveliged (in the present case) self-employment over wage slavery, promoting a bourgeois ‘freedom’ to self-exploitation over the tyranny of wage slavery. Not only does this choice pre-suppose a highly-developed skills set on the part of the self-employed, but (as with the home owner/tenant blog) fetishes the liberal (or in the context of the current capitalist hegemony, we could conflate the philossophical term with the economic, and say ‘neo-liberal) figure of the individual, the supreme post-Enlightenment atomic particle bouncing around the CERN accumulator of alienated society, anomic, and without social referent.
