Penny Travlou

Penny Travlou is a Lecturer in Cultural Geography and Theory (Edinburgh School of Architecture & Landscape Architecture, University of Edinburgh). Her research is inter-disciplinary with a particular focus on theories of space and place, politics of public space, digital culture, networks and ethnography. Alongside her academic work, Penny is active on issues about urban commons and spatial justice and a research network team member of the P2P Foundation. She is also involved in a collective pop-up kitchen/foodlab in Athens: Options FoodLab (options.limited) where she looks at refugees' integration in Greece.
