Jose Luis Vivero Pol

Jose Luis is half anti-hunger activist (vocation) and half agricultural engineer (academic qualification) with fifteen years of nomadic experience on food security policies and programmes, right to food advocacy, nutrition interventions and food sovereignty in more than 10 countries. His current academic interest aims to understand the governance mechanisms that trigger and steer sustainable food transitions and to develop a normative rationale that considers food as a commons grounded on people’s valuation of the economic and non-economic dimensions of food.
