Greg S. Cassel

Greg Cassel is a philosopher of language with diverse experience in human services and media arts. After becoming a political activist in 2014, he experienced pervasive dysfunctions and corruptions in nonprofit groups. He began focusing on deep organizing problems, and gradually became a p2p systems theorist, designer and "practivist". Greg works with p2p innovators in communities including Value Flows, Holochain, the Library of the Commons, and P2P Collective Intelligence. He focuses on social technologies such as decision process, networking standards, collaborative linked data and alternative currencies. When genuine p2p practices flourish, Greg hopes to focus more on collaborative and interactive arts, gardening and hiking.
