The suspension of the servant between outright slavery and a peer relationship is a normalization of the employer’s domination of the wage slave. Your inversion is false as is the assertion that “disruption at any level is equally revolutionary”. A complex system can be degraded at many points and still function, but disrupting a critical component will cause critical failure. Working to change the big picture requires the same actions as changing individual circumstances, but paying a subsistence wage isn’t one of those actions. It is quite normal for individual lives to change without changing the system dynamics.
