I believe Vinay Gupta sums it up well in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy8I-DeEnsg that Bitcoin will eventually be replaced unless the community adopts changes, which it clearly can’t anymore.
Ethereum has shown promise to fix many of Bitcoin’s flaws and even though it is not meant to be used as a currency, Ether has increased in value recently. Unfortunately that means that computation will cost more since it is the gas that fuels the distributed virtual computer.
Matan I watched your presentation of Backfeed’s sybil attack resilient protocol, would love to know more about Proof of Value. We (sensorica) have started to map out the infrastructure on how the blockchain can help in peer production by tokenizing and entwining Value, Governance and Reputation that can lead to proper democratization of capital.
