We just launched a crowdfunding platform for young social entrepreneurs http://www.helpingb.co.uk

HelpingB equips individuals aged 16-30 years to convert their ideas into social ventures.

Our Beta crowdfunding campaign, Lensational, co-founded by 22 year old Bonnie Chiu, empowers women to acquire photography skills to sustain an income and capture their life through a lens. The beneficiaries of their £2,000 crowdfunding campaign are 60 low-income women and girls in Lahore, Pakistan. Since exceeding their crowdfunding goal (125% funding), they have started to mobilise their volunteers to make this project a reality!

I’ll add GetFunded.com. According to their site:

“GetFunded is a crowdfunding site that allows for the funding of projects and efforts dedicated to the health and wellbeing of animals. Our goal is to bring each animal interest story to the masses and give each of them the ability to receive funds sourced through social media campaigns using our proprietary platform.”
