While work is tied to state regulation, individual creativity is hampered. The culture is: earn a living – the rights to the necessities of life, food, shelter, etc by earning money through work. This culture is based on a the belief that people are naturally lazy, and need incentives to work. Actually the opposite is true. While work is mandatory in order to earn a living, true creativity based on the inherent desire to use one’s own initiative, is suppressed. ‘Education’ is the story of this suppression.
