   “Now this is not a collective intelligence or collective consciousness, of course, because individual birds are not intelligent or conscious.”

   What an astoundingly shallow and presumptuous statement! Better to turn down the volume and enjoy the visual symphony without the babble from the self-described “intelligent” human.
