Michel Bauwens on the emergence of a more participative society based on P2P Networks

Michel Bauwens is initiator of the Foundation for Peer-to-Peer Alternatives to support individuals, organizations and society to adapt towards a more participative society. Peer-to-peer does not just refer to the technical infrastructure that we are building, but to the social relationships that it enables, and which are poised to fundamentally change the logic of our economics and civilization.

Michel will introduce us into the topic of P2P inspired processes, the drivers of the fundamental changes in society and provide many examples of technical and organizational formats. He will also address the issues of peer production, peer governance and
intellectual property. Michel will convince us that the future of P2P networks is here now. There will also be time for discussion.
