I suppose that data on that issue is hard to come by, but my own experience is that most people I know continue to buy and sell goods that are being mass-produced in large factories. I just haven’t actually seen the effects of this “new economy” (not sure what exactly to call it), besides the way it has transformed information via the internet.

I haven’t got around to reading Organizational Theory yet, though I have it sitting right behind me, so maybe that would help convince me of the actuality and/or inevitability of this revolution.
