    Meeting with Amelia Andersdotter of the Swedish Pirate Party at Citilab

    Amelia has been invited by the Virtual European Parliament (VEP) research programme

    Amelia Andersdotter, member of the Swedish Pirate Party will be in Catalonia on the 7th, 8th and 9th of July at the invitation of the research programme Virtual European Parliament (VEP)a project in which Citilab participates.

    Amelia was the second candidate in the Swedish Pirate party list for the European elections on 7 June, in which the party gained one member of Parliament and 7.1% of the vote. If the Treaty of Lisbon is approved and Sweden goes from 18 European MPs to 20 Ms Andersdotter will gain a seat immediately.

    The following the events have been programmed in Citilab during her visit:

    Tuesday July 7, 19: 00 (time to be confirmed)
    Amelia will participate in a debate about the impact and philosophy of the Swedish Pirate party and political participation in the role of new media in the contemporary world. Artur Serra (VEP & y2Cat) & Luis Angel Fernandez Hermana (Kubiknet) will also be taking part.

    Thursday, July 9, 11:30
    Andersdotter will do a press conference which will feature the collaboration of the Facultad de Comunicación Blanquerna de la Universitat Ramon Llull

      Du är kunnig inom dina områden men efter att ha sett dig i Debatt ikväll så blir jag besviken. Trodde inte det var en så sluten och intolerant människa jag röstade på när jag kryssade dig till EP. :(
