    We’re reposting an announcement:

    Mizzima.tv, a gateway to
footage, documentaries and hard news programmes on Burma-related issues.

Our top story today is “Salute to The Lady in honour of Burma’s democracy
leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi who spends her 61st birthday today under house
    arrest in Rangoon.

At Mizzima, we are dedicated to providing you with accurate news on Burma as
it happens and Mizzima.tv has been designed to give you access to
on-the-ground coverage of important issues facing Burmese people inside and
    outside the country.

Mizzima.tv is best watched with QuickTime 7 (free download available at
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html) on Firefox or Mac
    computer.

As always, our footage and documentaries can be viewed for free but they can
also be purchased on VCD or DVD. Please write to us at mizzima@mizzima.com
if you want to order any of our stories or footages.”

One Response to “Launch of Mizzima TV for Burma”

    1. Andre Says:

Nice article you have here. I dont think however that she will ever be released unless the countries around Burma change their stance on the issues. It is high time that the Asian countries take care of their own rouge members.
