“S’bu Zikode, founder of the Durban-based shack-dwellers’ movement Abahlali baseMjondolo, was invited to speak at Rhodes University on Thursday 10 October 2013. After the recent shooting of 17 year old AbM member, Nqobile Nzuza, Zikode focused on the increasing state oppression and violence against poorer communities in Cato Crest, Durban, and across the country.”
