From Carolina Rossini:

During the next two weeks representatives from the OER-Brazil Project and sister communities (such as volunteers from Wikimedia-Br, Free Software and Open Data), will participate in two conferences: Digital Culture Festival (culturadigital.org.br/en/o-festival/) and EduTec (www.edutecrio.org.br/en/), which is organized by the Ministry of Education in Brazil. In both of them, we will be developing a series of activities on OER and awareness raising in regard to the OER policy discussions in Brazil. One of such initiatives, includes an online petition in support to the OER bills of law (Federal and Sao Paulo State) and also the Sao Paulo city decree (already in effect).

So, I would like to invite you to sign the petition (in Portuguese) – Brazilian Government and Brazilian Society: for Policies to foster OER in Brazil. (It is an adaptation of part of the text from the Cape Town Declaration and also the links for the bills. )

I could really use your help. Click here to access, read and sign.
