Michel has pointed me to the trailer of a video made to promote the concept of sociocracy, which is a way to make decisions in organizations that takes into account the combined intelligence of the participants. Sociocracy avoids the faults of both autocratic and democratic decision making.

There is a page on the p2pfoundation’s wiki that describes the concept: Sociocracy

The Beyond Democracy video project aims to facilitate the production of a full 90-minute video. To start raising funds, a 20-minute video and a 40-minute video are being made available. There is also a trailer, which you can see at the Beyond Democracy site.

Another sample from the proposed video is available on YouTube at the following link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPuwL4uV1DY

A book titled We the People: Consenting to a Deeper Democracy is introduced at www.sociocracy.info/
